Retreat Topic: Jericho Faith
Ruth Stevens uses the opening chapters of Joshua as a guide to get our heart in a place of great faith. It’s not about our ability, talents or spirituality. It’s about faith in a God who brings walls crashing down. It’s about faith in a God who rescues ordinary people, like Rahab the prostitute from an enemy stronghold. It’s about faith in a God who promises to crossover ahead of us through our troubles. It’s about Jericho faith.
Speaker Biography for Ruth Stevens

Ruth has mentored women of all ages and led International seminars on working through life problems
About Sisters in Christ
This ministry effort began when God laid upon one woman's heart the desire to reach out to other women in a way that would result in us sharing, caring and growing in faith - basically "doing life together."
We desire to know one another better, to embrace the diversity within our community and to celebrate the different paths and experiences that have shaped our lives.
God has granted each of us unique gifts and talents. We serve our family, church and community, and yet, we desire to serve one another also.
God is the one who connects us. Let's allow Him to grow these relationships as we seek His ministry in this place and in this community.
There are those in our midst with young children who are far from family. We need to offer a helping hand or encouraging word. There are those in our midst who are suffering financially or have health or family challenges they are facing. We need to pray for one another.
