Fall Festival at the Ford Family Farm

Schedule of Events

12-3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28

Photos will be taken of children and family with the barn as a backdrop. Photos will be made available one week from the event. Children are encouraged to come in family friendly costumes.

Play old fashioned games that include:

  • Corn toss

  • Horseshoes

  • Tug-O-War

  • Free play: Frisbee, hula hoops and balls will be provided

  • Sack races

  • Hayrides

  • Pumpkin story time

The church's boy scout troop will demonstrate "Punkin' Chunkin'  with their hand-built catapult.

Visit animals in the small Ford family barn.

Bonfire and Dinner (hot dogs, hamburger, chips and roasted marshmallows ... and more).

If you are a guest, please come and enjoy the festival and picnic. If you are a member, please bring a side dish or dessert. We look forward to celebrating the beautiful fall season with you!

First Baptist Church invites you to attend the Fall Festival at the Ford Family Farm. Whether you are members of our church family or of our community, you are welcome. We will picnic together, play games, listen to music and sing around a bonfire. Please register to help us plan appropriately.


411 South Bryan St., Shawnee, OK
Proceed east on Main St. at the intersection of Harrison and Main St. Proceed to Bryan St., turn right. You will pass the Pleasant Grove Elementary School. Take a left just after passing the white house. It will appear you are turning into the driveway. This road will weave down into the pasture where the barn is located. Please drive slowly over the cattle guards as you make your way down to the barn. You will be able to see it in the distance.
