Love God, Love People, Love Shawnee
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

Summer Lunch Program, June 17-21st
In Shawnee, a high number of children depend upon free or reduced lunches during the school year. The Summer Lunch Program provides a healthy meal to children during the summer. Mission Shawnee relies on volunteers to prepare and distribute lunches across 3 locations in Shawnee. Children at each location receive a meal, listen to a Bible story, and participate in recreational activities at each location. FBC has agreed to distribute lunches (which are purchased and prepared by others) Monday – Friday, June 17-21st. We need 6 volunteers per day to deliver food, share a Bible story and enjoy fellowship together. Each event will be 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm. For more information please contact the office or sign up in your Sunday School class.
SMAK, June 24-28th
SMAK (Summer Music Activity for Kids) is June 24-28th from 10 am to 3:00 pm. Music rehearsal will be in the mornings. Kids bring their own lunch. There will be fun field trips in the afternoons with a snack! Cost for this event is $25 (T-shirt included). For more information please contact Michael Ware.
Falls Creek, July 8-15th
The mystery is afoot this year at Fall’s Creek! Each year, the emphasis of Falls Creek youth camps follows a rotation of evangelism, character & nature of God, then spiritual disciplines. This year our focus is evangelism. Every aspect of camp unpacks the theme as we seek to reach the lost and equip the saints. Cost is $100 per student. The parent meeting will be on June 23rd at 5:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. For more information please contact Andrew Worley, Youth Minister.
