FIRST CONNECTIONS – February 23, 2018

First Baptist Church Shawnee

Be Disciples. Make Disciples.

If you live by my decrees and obediently keep my commandments, I will send the rains in their seasons, the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. You will thresh until the grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting time; you’ll have more than enough to eat and will live safe and secure in your land. (from The Message, Leviticus 26)

Sermon, Sunday February 25, 2018:

“Parable of the Sower”

Mark 4:1-20

Paul Stevens

Women’s Morning Bible Study – STARTS NEXT WEDNESDAY!

We have set some dates to discuss this book and fellowship! A Modern Girls Guide to Bible Study. Instead of doing a long study this semester, we have planned two mornings with brunch, fellowship and discussion. We plan to cover Part 1 (chpt 1-4) on Feb 28th and Part 2 (chpt 5-8) on March 14th from 10:45 to 12. We meet at the church and a nursery will be available. Looking forward to seeing everyone! All are welcome!!
Below is a link to the book on amazon in paperback or kindle. It may also be available at Walmart and Living Word at the mall. May need to be ordered from those but could be local pick-up.
