In preparation for our contemporary worship service, the Worship Committee would like your input. See the attached Contemporary Worship Service Questionnaire, which will also be available in the bulletin and at the Welcome Center this Sunday, April 30. There is a box for filled-in questionnaires at the Welcome Center. Below is the link to the online questionnaire if you would rather do it that way.
New Prayer Group
Wednesdays at 7 AM
This is an open to all prayer group which meets in Fellowship Hall for prayer. Where four are gathered in His name…. we pray for the church in many areas. We admit that we need God’s help and blessing for our church, it’s work in the community and abroad, unity, and to find His will for our future.

Single and Parenting is needing help publicizing our program to various locations that single parents frequent. Please contact Audrey Rose (918-557-7862) or Renita Swedberg (651-0425) with ideas of locations to place flyers or brochures.

Vacation Bible School Needs
(For VBS, June 26-29)
Loaners: Drafting/architect’s table; old work bench; toy tools. Also one or two large peg boards (4’ X 6’ or so); but these will be painted on one side by us. Non-returnables: empty paint cans; metal coffee cans; electric tooth brushes; carpet tubes; old Slinkys. None of the above have to be nice or in good condition.
POOLS NEEDED THIS SUMMER!
We are looking forward to our Pool Parties with a Purpose for the kids through 6th grade on Wednesday nights this summer! To help with costs, we would love for any church member who has a pool in their backyard to volunteer to host 1 pool party this summer.
Here are the dates we need pools, from 5:30pm-7pm each night:
June 7 – Thank you DeeAnn Schroyer!
June 14 – Thank you to the Cragins!
August 2 – Thank you Field family!
The church will provide all food and drinks, and also a lifeguard for the event.
The Pastoral Care department at St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital offers training and mentoring in caring for others, especially those who are ill. They are looking for volunteers to assist with basic hospital visitation. While no experience is necessary, a demonstrated commitment to a faith community and an availability of 2-3 hours per week are required.
