New Prayer Group
Wednesdays at 7 AM
Prayer Group: Wednesday, 4/12/17, at 7 AM, an open to all prayer group met in fellowship hall for prayer. Where four were gathered in His name…. we prayed for the church in many areas. We admitted that we need God’s help and blessing for our church, it’s work in the community and abroad, unity, and to find His will for our future. This group will meet again next Wednesday; open to all! A prayer that surely was pleasing to God was the one who prayed with us silently and with many tears of care and concern; very special.

The Pastoral Care department at St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital offers training and mentoring in caring for others, especially those who are ill. They are looking for volunteers to assist with basic hospital visitation. While no experience is necessary, a demonstrated commitment to a faith community and an availability of 2-3 hours per week are required.
If you would like to know more, please contact Chaplain Bill Simpson. He can be reached at 878-8129 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
New Bulletins and Prayer Lists
Hope you enjoy the new simplified church bulletin; we have estimated that it will save both time and money and believe it will be easier to read as well. Separate prayer sheets have also been made available for those that want them at the west door entrance, in windows by the piano and by the organ and at the Welcome Center. Thank you, Mary
