So far we have projects to do from Elementary schools: Horace Mann, Jefferson, and Pleasant Grove; also: Crossroads; Youth & Family Center; Mission Shawnee; Cargo Ranch; Family Promise; Community Renewal; Colonial Estates; and the City of Shawnee. And Ray will lead a Neighborhood Prayer Walk in the downtown area.

The FBC Legacy Ministry provides opportunity to invest in the future ministry of FBC through gifts that become a part of our Legacy Ministry Fund.  The Fund provides a cash distribution each year which is used to fund needs that are outside the annual budget.  The Legacy Ministry Committee is currently seeking input on how best to invest the current year distribution of $3,851.32 in FBC ministries.  In past years we have funded needs in the nursery and children’s areas, provided scholarships for youth activities, and funded ministry interns.   If you have a request, please submit it to the church office in writing by Sunday, April 3, 2016.  The Legacy Committee will review the requests and bring a recommendation to the church.  If you would like more information about the FBC Legacy Ministry and how you can impact the ministry of FBC beyond your lifetime, please contact the church office.
