2017-2018 Budget
It is budget planning time for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. Requests went out October 13 and are due back December 9. Please meet with your organization/committee and prepare your budget requests.

Now would be an excellent time to pick a Sunday morning and volunteer at the Welcome Center – if you like it, you can join the team and be included on the schedule (you get to pick which Sundays.) Below is the plan:

8:45 – Make Coffee (if we want to add donuts or fruit, that would be great!)

9:15 – At the station Welcome People, if possible escorting visitors to Sunday School class or finding someone to escort them if needed.

10:00 – Unplug Coffee Pot

Post Service - Clean out coffee pot

Days that are currently available are: Nov. 13 & 27 and Dec. 4 & 18. Call the church office to volunteer or to get more information. 275-6111.

Silver Urns

While cleaning out two of the flower closets here at the church, the decorations committee found 2 silver urns; however they are not a matching set. We believe that they are from two sets and would really appreciate it if anyone can shed light on where the others could be.

ID information: urn #1 has inscription “James Edwin Poulston 1952” and the second one just says “Alice McCosar.”  If you have any information, please call the church office-275-6111.

Medical Supplies Available for Give Away

Also, during a recent closet clean-up, it was discovered that we have more medical supplies than we need to be storing here at FBC. We have shower chairs, walkers, canes, glucometers (but no strips-sorry), and several other things. THESE ARE FREE TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS THEM. Please call the church office for details, 275-6111.

Give Online. It’s Easy!

FBC is excited to announce that you can now manage your giving On-Line! Giving On-Line is easy and allows you to set up automatic recurring contributions and view your complete giving history from anywhere you have internet access. Go to our website for more details.

If you move or change your phone number or email address, please contact us at the church office so we can make the changes to the church directory and database. (Call 275-6111 or email Thank you!  Mary
