First Connections – September 5, 2014

The unfailing love of the Lord never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” Lamentations 3:22-24

Attention all tutors and prayer partners!

School has begun and our tutoring/prayer ministry needs to be ready to begin October 1. If you are a returning tutor, you do not need to do any additional paperwork at this time. If you are a new tutor, you will need to see Pat Prescott for an application and instructions on being finger printed.

Our first meeting will be Sunday, September 7, at 5:00 pm in room A100. The two schools we serve are Horace Mann and Jefferson. Please come with the name of the school, the grade level, and the subject area you would prefer.

This meeting is for all prayer partners as well. Each tutor needs at least one prayer partner and at this meeting you will be matched. Thank you again for your willingness to serve the children of Shawnee.
