Summer Sunday School Help Sign-up
This Summer, I am working on making a great Summer Sunday School for our children from birth through 5th grade. I’d like to invite you to help teach or hold babies during the Sunday school hour (9:15-10:35am) at least one Sunday this summer, from June 1st to August 10th . Most classes have regular teachers who are staying through the summer and just need an assistant. We will have 6 Sunday School rooms during the Sunday School hour, just as we have all during the school year. We need two people in each room, each Sunday, plus a Storyteller who is only there from 9:45-10:05am.
This is a link to the master list in a google doc so you can sign up.
You can also call, text, or email me with the Sunday(s) you want to help. There will also be a paper signup sheet on the Preschool Sign-in desk starting this Sunday. Thanks, Elaine Hawkins (613-1937)
The FBC Legacy Ministry provides opportunity to invest in the future ministry of FBC through gifts that become a part of our Legacy Ministry Fund. The Fund provides a cash distribution each year which is used to fund needs that are outside the annual budget. The Legacy Ministry Committee is currently seeking input on how best to invest the current year distribution of $1644 in FBC ministries. In past years we have funded needs in the nursery and children’s areas, and provided scholarships for youth activities. If you have a request, please submit it to the church office in writing by Sunday, June 15. The Legacy Committee will review the requests and bring a recommendation to the church. If you would like more information about the FBC Legacy Ministry and how you can impact the ministry of FBC beyond your lifetime, please contact the church office.
