CrossTimbers Fundraiser                                     November 16

This is to raise money for scholarships for CrossTimbers Children’s Missions Camp . It will be held in conjunction with our Quarterly Annual Business Meeting. (Eat first; business second!) We will have spaghetti with a variety of sauces and toppings. Also garlic bread, salad and a variety of desserts. Pianist needed:

The First Christian Church is seeking someone to play the piano for their early morning service on Sundays. The time is 8:30 to 9:30; there is no rehearsal and it is a paying job. If interested, call Josh at FCC, 275-1519.

Service Opportunities at FBC:

Tutors/Prayer Partners: If you are interested in becoming a tutor, contact Pat Prescott. The two schools we serve are Horace Mann and Jefferson. She will need to know which school; grade level and subject area you would prefer.

CrossTimbers Scholarship Fundraiser:  (November 16) We need 15-20 people to agree to make homemade spaghetti sauce/toppings for this event. From each of these volunteers we will need 3-5 quarts, delivered hot to the church the morning of Nov. 16. We would really like a variety of sauces and toppings. Parents of campers: please bring a dessert. Please call Elaine Hawkins to volunteer as soon as you know you can help. (See the calendar part of this bulletin for more event information.)

Canned Food Drive: All next month (November) we will collect canned goods for the Salvation Army and then the children will deliver them on Sunday, November 23.
